Shannon Scally founded SPMH, PLLC in 2022 with the passion and commitment to improve and promote mental health wellness in Western Montana and surrounding communities. Shannon strives to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, building a unique therapeutic relationship with each person, utilizing psychotherapy, education, and individualized support during each medication management session. 

 

Shannon Scally has been practicing in healthcare since 1996 with experience in hospital acute care, healthcare management, teaching mental health nursing, and psychiatric patient care. She holds a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP); psychiatric mental health. 

Shannon Scally specializes in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, attention deficit and other impulse control disorders including substance use disorders, neurodevelopment disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders. Shannon Scally utilizes a comprehensive, compassionate, holistic, family oriented therapies approach to treatment. A patient's treatment plan may include solution focused psychotherapy, dietary and lifestyle interventions, holistic and homeopathic options to further support the health and wellbeing of the patient and their families.  Shannon Scally is a strong advocate of integrated care and works collaboratively with the patient's treatment team; including their primary care provider, therapists, teachers, and family members. Shannon believes patient education is crucial and emphasizes self-cares and empowerment of one's own mental health. 

Shannon Scally was born in Kalispell, Montana and has deep roots in Montana. Living or working in Lincoln, Flathead, and Missoula counties.
